The Grand Massif Samoëns Morillon Chalet-Apartments France

Just returned from an amazing time at Club Med Grand Massif. A special shout out to Bruno and Thai who were always so warm and helpful from the get go! A wonderful location - our 4th different club med and one of the best locations. A bit let down by the food quality (great but not as great as the other Club Meds!) but otherwise spot on for a fantastic family snow trip.

This is a wonderful resort, the hotel is spacious (huge) with lots of room. There are two bars to choose from both are brilliant and offer pretty much everything. The rooms are big, and very comfortable, although a little to warm for our liking I had the window open every day /night. Water pressure and temperature is very good too. Spa facilities looked amazing but we didn't use them as we were skiing each day. Ski lockers are spacious and very warm, we left our gloves and helmets as well as boots and skis and they were dry and warm each morning. It's a short walk to the piste but a little pole to the first piste.
It's quite a small resort, compared with some of the other french ones but we were lucky to have a great instructor Richard, a very good friendly group 3B and blessed with good snow.
The car park was brilliant, we did pay up front before we arrived and had no problems. We arrived early on the Sunday to ski early with a ski pass we brought, and the staff were amazing and so helpful.
There are two restaurants I was a little disappointed with the skyline, when we visited as some of the food on the menu wasn't available but it was ok. The main buffet has so much choice, and is presented very well,. My only issue was that fresh food was being cooked and the chefs were reluctant to give it our fresh and so it was often sat on the side and cold. The omelettes were very small and not worth it, and if I asked for a flipped egg in the morning I got it fresh!
I was with a party of 6 and every night we had to find a table, it would have been nicer if we could have had a table reserved each night.
Entertainment was great, I didn't watch every show, as it's not my thing but they did work hard. In fact all of the staff worked hard, and are very accommodating, making our holiday really good. I would go back but maybe next year we will try somewhere different. This was our 4th club Med ski resort and probably our favourite for the hotel side of things.
One thing to note is that ski & boot hire is very expensive at club Med, we hired in the village for a fraction of the cost.

We had a great time and our first ski trip in France. Club med efficiency ensure all logistics relating to accommodation, skiing, meals, entertainment were on point so we could enjoy skiing and post ski events. Special thanks to Bruno (front desk) Jeremy (ski instructor), Hugo (fitness), Michael (f&b), Ariana (front desk) and Emily. We’ll be back for sure!

Great service by all staff. Especially by spyridon the waiter from the restaurant and the chef of the village. Every aspect was taken care of with the highest level possible.

Ramazan was fantastic at clubmed! He helped us find a table for the family and was very attentive. Thank you for helping!

We also live rayann from the bar who always brings the best bar service and Bruno and Titquan from reception who are incredible and very helpful
