Sicily is the Mediterranean’s largest island and is located less than 100 miles from the coast of North Africa, from where it reaps the benefits of warm weather. In spring and summer, visitors to Sicily can enjoy eight to eleven hours of sunshine per day and the average temperate, even in winter, very rarely falls below 10°C.

Things to do in Sicily

Valley of the Temples in Agrigento

Is it necessary to present this volcanic island, off the coast of Sicily and civilization? Made famous by Jules Verne in particular, the site awaits you for an unforgettable excursion during your all-inclusive stay in Italy. Because it is the explosions of the volcano that you will observe while surveying the crater. You will shiver at the sight of sheaves of fire. At 4:15 a.m. from your Club Med Cefalu, you are face to face with the forces of nature.

Theatre of Taormina

It is perhaps the most beautiful city in Sicily at 2h30 from your Club Med Cefalu resort which presents a city and a heavenly environment. Time seems to stand still during your all-inclusive stay in Italy. This cultural and spectacular break takes you to the ancient theatre. This place overwhelms fans with its architectural profusion as much as with the landscape it offers over the valley and the bay of Taormina below.

Etna

Sicilian brother of Vesuvius, it is the largest active volcano in Europe and as such, an unmissable natural site for lovers of exceptional excursions. Put on your hiking boots, head for an ascent of more than 2 hours during which you will admire the summit craters. An unforgettable demonstration of the power of nature!

The village of Gratteri
